Simple Workout Routine to Maximize Muscle Gain

When developing a workout routine, the many decisions to make can be overwhelming. There are often too many cardio vascular and weight training machines to choose from, ultimately leading to frustration and headaches. To make this a much easier process, I am writing this article to explain a bare-bones, simple approach to exercise. I believe that you can train your entire body with just a few exercises, and only complicate your workout program with lots of stations in its later stages, and only to fine-tune your muscle definition.

Four Important Elements of a Good Rounded Fitness Training Routine Part III

In part I of this series I talked about aerobic exercise. In part II was muscle strengthening. In this article, part III of the series, the focus is upon stretching.


Stretching is an important element of your fitness training routine because it prepares your muscles for exercise. It can also boost your flexibility, balance and coordination.


Since most aerobic and strength training programs cause your muscles to contract and flex, to provide an equal balance, you must pay attention to lengthening and stretching those muscles after your workout.

Well Rounded Strength Training Routine

So you’ve decided to strength train, but do you have a well rounded strength training routine? There are many books and programs out there that will dispense information, but the bottom line is that you are very unique. Your goals, your fitness level, your experience and your personal strengths and weaknesses all make you unique.


The reason I bring this up is because unless you find a program that talks directly to YOU, you will have a hard time finding a routine that works for YOU. You’ll need to find well rounded strength training routines (many of them in fact), and healthy meal suggestions.
